Mr. Salmaan Taseer is the chairman and CEO of the Worldcall and First Capital Group. He brings with him an array of experience dating back to the early stages of his career where he successfully set up two chartered accountancy and management consultancy firms; KPMG, UAE and THK, Pakistan. Diversifying his interests, in 1994 he established First Capital Securities Corporation, a full service brokerage house with equity participation by Smith Barney Inc USA and HG Asia Hong Kong. Since then he has been actively involved in establishing other companies in the financial sector as well as the telecommunications, insurance and real estate/ property development sectors. He has vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, floatations, investment banking and setting up infrastructure projects. Today, the group boasts a number of companies, listed and unlisted in various sectors with national and international footprint. Mr. Taseer is a Chartered Accountant (England and Wales) by profession .

Sardar Ali Wattoo

Sardar Ali Wattoo With 16 years of finance advisory experience, Mr. Wattoo joined the First Capital/Worldcall Group as the Group’s Financial Controller but was shortly promoted to Group Director Finance, managing the Treasury, Accounting, Financial Control and Legal functions both in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Mr. Wattoo played a vital role in setting up, managing and strategically planning the Worldcall Group companies. Prior to joining the Worldcall group, Mr. Wattoo was the Financial Controller of Kohinoor Energy Ltd and Southern Electric Power Company. Mr. Wattoo is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Pakistan .

Moeed Rahman

Mr. Rahman joined Pace Pakistan Ltd. as General Manager in April, 2001. Due to tremendous performance Mr. Rahman was promoted as Chief Operating Officer of not only Pace Pakistan Limited but also for other associated companies of Pace namely Pace Super Mall (Private) Limited and Pace Woodlands (Private) Limited. Mr. Rahman has strong marketing background in Textiles retailing sector. Before joining Pace, Mr Rahman was engaged with Irfan Textiles (Pvt.) Limited / Famous Brands (Pvt.) Limited (Licensees for Jockey and Hang Ten, well known American brands). He successfully launched Jockey brand products through 750 outlets in national market through a very well developed distribution and sales network country wide. He has also worked as General Manager Sabrina Clothing Company, General Manager Prime Dairies & Rocco Dairy Ice Cream and General Manager Jembro Stores Inc., New York, U.S.A. Mr. Rahman is Bachelor of Arts from Government College Lahore .

Musharraf Khan

Mr. Musharaf has over 10 years of diversified experience in finance. He started his career in Audit at Coopers & Lybrand, Chartered Accountants and joined the energy sector on a management position. He also served Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan in the capacity of Joint Director. Subsequently he joined the First Capital/Worldcall Group where now he is working as a Chief Financial Officer of the Company to handle overall finance and accounts of the Property Division of the Group. Mr. Musharaf has extensive experience in Audit, finance and accounting matters, business development, planning and evaluation, treasury and corporate finance, taxation, internal controls, dealing with regulatory authorities & financial institutions and looking after litigation and other matters. Mr. Musharaf is a Chartered Accountant by profession & has also passed two levels of CFA .

With over 6 years of marketing experience and 3 years of experience in the publishing industry, Ms. Afridi has been General Manager of Sales, Marketing and Recovery for Pace Pakistan Limited since March 2005. She is responsible for developing sales and marketing strategies, and conducting extensive market research and analysis for all of Pace’s real estate ventures. Prior to joining Pace, Ms. Afridi worked in various organizations including the Marketing Association of Pakistan, Media Times (Pvt) Limited, Worldcall Telecommunications Group and Publicis Pakistan (Pvt) Limited.

Amir Liaqat

With over 10 years of valuable experience, Mr. Liaqat has been General Manager of Operations for Pace since early 2000. He reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and his responsibilities include running two operational shopping malls and leading a staff of over 150 people. Prior to joining PACE, he worked as a Marketing Officer for Famous Brands Private Limited, an international brand franchisee for Hang Ten, Slazenger, Head, TBS and American Wilderness. Mr. Liaqat holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Preston University and a Bachelor of Textile Engineering from The National Textile College.
